What’s On – Coming Up

Looking further ahead.

Although the countryside around us seems to be shut down for the winter, here at the Hub we are as busy as ever curating a timetable of seasonal acitivies to keep all ages entertained as the days lengthen and the cold strengthens.

February 2018:

It’s cross country skiing without skis – to put it simply! But why choose this form of exercise over others?

  • Gain the Cardio benefits of running but with much lower impact on your knee & hip joints.
  • Pushing back on the pole opens up the chest and improves respiration.
  • Pole-swing movements exercise the shoulder muscles releasing tension in the neck – resulting in a whole body workout!

We’re offering taster sessions on the 8th, 13th & 15th February with NordicWalkingForHealth
